Fans can brace themselves to travel back to the mysterious world of Hawkins yet again with the fifth season of ‘Stanger Things‘. The shooting for the season has already begun and we are so very excited about how the team fights the challenges and what Vecna has in store for them.
The cast of the series was one of its most appreciated assets, and the show is set to add more jewels to their crown with some fresh faces. Here’s all the new characters and the actors playing them that the ‘Stranger Things’ creators have added to the show this season.
New Characters Introduced In ‘Stranger Things Season 5‘
Netflix took to Instagram to share the behind-the-scenes of season 5 of the blockbuster sci-fi show ‘Stranger Things‘ ahead of its highly anticipated release, while also unveiling the new additional cast. Among the new faces set to join the show are Nell Fisher from ‘Evil Dead Rise‘, Alex Breaux from ‘Waco: The Aftermath‘ and a newcomer Jake Connelly.
The video was narrated by various cast members and was shot in Atlanta Based soundstages, where the show has been filming for major parts of 2024. Caleb McLaughlin says in a voiceover that they are halfway through the production.
The creators haven’t revealed much about the storyline of season 5, but the show is going to be amazing and action-packed.

The Hellfire Club Will Be Back In Season 5
The Hellfire Club is ready to fight the evil once again and that has been made amply clear in the recently released video. There’s a shot of the core ‘Stranger Things’ friend group including Mike played by Finn Wolfhard, Dustin played by Gates Matarazzo, Lucas played by McLaughlin, and Will played by Noah Schnapp. They will also be joined by Nancy played by Natalia Dyer, Joyce played by Winona Ryder, Jonathan played by Charlie Heaton, and Steve played by Joe Keery.
All together with their joint force fought bravely in season 4 against Vecna. Moreover, they are also keeping the Hellfire club alive as Dustin was wearing the T-shirt in the video.
The new actors are also playing an active role in the new season. Fisher is probably playing the role of Mike’s younger sister. Breaux can be seen brandishing a rifle and Connelly is standing next to Lucas’s sister Erica.
Surprisingly, there are no shots of Millie Bobby Brown with any other cast. But there are several shots of the upside down. Henry Creel, who plays the role of Vecna, said “Season 4 was big” but “Season 5 definitely feels bigger.” The release date for season 5 is not confirmed yet.
