The Battle Between Sukuna And Gojo Satoru In Anime
Gojo is a character of great significance! He is way too overpowered not only in his verse but also comes out triumphant even when pitted against characters from different anime universes in a power-scaling match! However, the news of his sudden demise left his fans devastated!
Some fans even sent death threats to the author of the series! Fortunately, this matter related to Gojo has cooled down quite a bit but there are still some fans in the community who want a different outcome and are putting all their hopes on the anime adaptation of Gojo vs Sukuna!
There are some instances when the anime adaption of a manga series received an original ending different from that of the manga series. However, it is next to impossible for a prominent series like ‘Jujutsu Kaisen‘ to receive a different conclusion of a fight as important as Gojo vs Sukuna!
This is so because if somehow Gojo comes out as a victor in the brawl against Sukuna then the series’s practically over. With the main antagonist Sukuna being taken out for good, the series will stray away from the ending that Gege Akutami cooked up.
Another point to be noted is that the protagonist of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is Itadori Yuji and it’s his job to put an end to the evil doings of Sukuna. Gojo has already fulfilled his role of mentoring and nurturing Yuji. So, it’s high time for Gojo stans to accept that our favorite sensei is gone after fulfilling his role.

Conclusion
No matter how sad or disheartening this may sound, Gojo isn’t gonna be receiving a different treatment in the anime adaptation as the series will deviate completely from how it’s supposed to end. Generally, anime adaptation follows its source material which is manga. Sometimes, little changes are being made and the rest of the content will be the same as that of the source material.
There are some exceptions like ‘Bleach‘, in which a lot of anime-original content is introduced in the adaptation itself. This is so because Tite Kubo, the author of Bleach wasn’t able to fully serialize his manga because of a certain situation.
To add up to that Gege Akutami has openly stated his hatred and dislikement towards Gojo! In one of his comments, he said: “Now that Gojo’s gone, it’s looking like 2024’s gonna be a good year.” This is a clear indicator of Gege’s hate towards Gojo because of him being too powerful.
Gojo needed to die one way or another for other characters like Yuji, Megumi, and Yuta to grow up to their potential. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be any character development whatsoever.
