The ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ depicts the story of two star-crossed lovers, separated by their curses. They struggle along to find a solution to end their misery along with their own group of fates. Though destiny has something else planned for them. As their journey continues they are constantly faced with challenges from foes, sometimes far stronger than anyone ever has been.
In the universe of the Sins, the two most powerful factions would be The Seven Deadly Sins and the Ten Commandments. Both are groups led by extremely capable leaders with the motive of destroying and rebuilding their dreams. While the oppositions face off against each other, a crueler enemy awaits them. They are forced to join forces at one point to fend off any threatening enemies lurking in the dark.

The Seven Deadly Sins Vs The Ten Commandments
Ironically both the Seven Deadly Sins and the Ten Commandments were led by Meliodas, the protagonist of the story. The Seven Deadly Sins is the current faction that Meliodas is leading while he previously led the Ten Commandments when he was serving under the Demon King. Both consists of powerful people/demons. Many compare their number against each other, though that’s completely wrong.
While counting in numbers it is undeniable that the Ten Commandments hold more power, but the individuals in the Seven Deadly Sins pose a greater threat to them. Escanor of the latter group could easily subdue most of the members of the Ten Commandments alone (apart from the leader Zeldris). Meliodas himself stated that Escanor is more powerful than him if he could maintain his strength even after sunset.

Zeldris the current leader of the Ten Commandments is the brother to Meliodas. When Meliodas was in the Demon realm, he was the top boss. It was only after his betrayal that Zeldri assumed the position. Even during their exchange, Meliodas easily subdued Zeldris while the other struggled to get rid of him. He was even trained by his older brother who greatly looked up to him when he ruled over the Commandments.
If we have to talk about someone who is weaker among the Seven Deadly Sins, it would be Diane. Apart from her, each of the six members of the Sins is capable enough to easily take care of their foes. Undoubtedly, Meliodas being the protagonist does provide him with extra buff, allowing him to surpass everyone in their universe, including their father Demon King.

Who Is More Powerful? Meliodas Or Zeldris
Whether Zeldris assumed the position only because Meliodas left or not, he is super powerful. I mean, he is the leader of the Ten Commandments after all. His power allows him to deflect any attacks on him, and he has crazy regenerative abilities. Meliodas on the other hand, simply can’t die. It is irrefutable that he possesses far more strength than any character, plus his ‘immorality’ curse comes as a blessing in dire situations.
During their fight, Meliodas easily pinned down Zeldris while the latter struggled to get himself out. This portrays that Meliodas is stronger than his younger brother. Nevertheless, we should also remember that the sibling pair deeply cares for one another. Zeldris held a grudge against Meliodas, as he was forced to seal away his lover Gelda by their father’s order.
When Meliodas promises Zeldris that he’ll set Gelda free, he instantly calms down and even co-operates with him to defeat Arthur. After the fight is over, Meliodas asks him to join the celebratory party, but the latter rejects it. The point is, the celebration should be a moment for them only, not including everyone. Zeldris’ words show that he doesn’t hold any hostility towards Meliodas, and was even willing to reconcile with the former.
