Did Eminem Diss Drake In His Album ‘Kamikaze’? Oscar-Winning Singer Opens Up About The Controversy

The Detroit rapper Eminem sat down with Sway Calloway for Part Four of ‘The Kamikaze Interview’ and clarified some of the controversies regarding a shady line that was allegedly aimed at Drake. Many followers of Eminem deciphered that the rapper was dissing Drake on his album ‘Kamikaze’.

Em, who is known for writing his own lyrics, does not do well with rappers who use ghostwriters in their raps. There was a claim that Drake uses ghostwriters. Em’s rap song dissing people who do not write their own songs came around at this time which made people speculate that Em was hinting at Drake.

Did Eminem Diss Drake?

The lyric that is under scrutiny is, “I got a couple of mansions / Still I don’t have any manners / You got a couple of ghost writers / But to these kids it don’t actually matter / They’re askin’ me, “What the f**k happened to hip-hop?” / I said, ‘I don’t have any answers.'”

Following all the assumptions about this track, Eminem cleared that this was not targeted at Drake. Em stated that the assumptions were false and that Drake would always be on his grace. This is apparently because Drake has done something incredible for Em’s daughter that he would never forget.

Who Was The Diss Meant For?

Em noted that he was not about dissing any rapper rather he just wanted to establish that he would never have ghostwriters write his rap. He said, “Never have and never will. If I ever need a ghostwriter, I need to just f**king put the mic down.”

He also added at the end that Drake “makes great music.” Waving off all these controversies, Eminem released his next diss album Killshot aimed at Machine Gun Kelly.
