The global hit ‘Barbie‘ would be a miss to everyone who couldn’t become a part of it. And there are many actors who couldn’t take part in the movie due to conflicting schedules and other restrictions. When ‘Barbie’ was first envisioned there were many actors who were supposed to be cast in the titular role. And the movie’s co-producer Margot Robbie wanted it to be the ‘Wonder Woman’ lead Gal Gadot.
Many actors like Dan Levy, Bowen Yang, and Ben Platt had missed their casting as the other Kens in the movie. However, Ryan Reynolds had been the first choice for the role of Ken, agreed by both Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie. And Gal Gadot recently opened up about how she felt being one of the choices that Margot Robbie put forward as Barbie for the film.

Gal Gadot Adores Margot Robbie
In an interview published by The Flaunt Magazine on August 11, the ‘Red Notice’ actress Gal Gadot shared how she feels about her being Margot Robbie’s choice for the titular role in ‘Barbie‘. “I adore Margot. Margot is one of those women who you just want to be friends with,” the ‘Criminal‘ actress said.
The actress went on to say so much about Margot Robbie. “She brings so much to the table,” Gadot shared. “I would love to do anything with Margot and was very touched [by her comments]. Margot Robbie Had Gal Gadot As Barbie In Mind
It was in an interview with Vogue in May that the ‘Harley Quinn’ fame Margot Roccie chipped in that she had Gal Gadot in mind as Barbie. The actress shared that she felt like Gal had much “Barbie energy”. But the ‘Heart of Stone’ actress was not available at that time.
“Because Gal Gadot is so impossibly beautiful, but you don’t hate her for being that beautiful because she’s so genuinely sincere, and she’s so enthusiastically kind, that it’s almost dorky,” the 33-year-old actress Margot Robbie said. “It’s like right before being a dork.” The final decision to have Margot Robbie as Barbie was in the hands of Greta Gerwig, the co-writer and director.
