Hugh Jackman Starts Preparing For ‘Deadpool 3’
Actor Hugh Jackman retired from the role of Wolverine in 2017 with ‘Logan.’ However, fans were delighted to know that he will be returning as the superhero in Ryan Reynolds ‘Deadpool 3.’
Recently, the 54-year-old actor shared a picture of his diet that he is following for the preparation. “Bulking. A day in the life,” Jackman shared a picture of his six meals with this caption.
He further wrote: “Thank you, Chef Mario, for helping me stay healthy and properly fed whilst… Becoming. Wolverine. Again.” Jackman is eating two chicken burgers (1,000 calories each), black bass (2,000 calories), Patagonia salmon (2,100 calories), and two grass-fed sirloins (1,100 calories each). This takes the tally to more than 8,000 calories per day.

Jackman Said He Never Took Steroids For The Role
In January, the ‘Prisoners‘ actor said that he was building himself up to consume 6,000 calories a day. He said he was at 4,500-5,000 calories at that moment. Around the same time, Jackman said that he never took steroids to bulk up.
“No, I love my job. And I love Wolverine,” he said. “I got to be careful what I say here, but I had been told anecdotally what the side effects are of that. And I was like, ‘I don’t love it that much.’ So no, I just did it the old school way.”
Jackman said that he ate a lot of chicken to get in shape. ‘Deadpool 3‘, which reunites him with Ryan Reynolds, is slated to release in theatres on November 8.
