Jenna Ortega Opens Up About Politics And Hollywood
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Ortega opened up about the sensitive topic of Hollywood and politics intermingling. “The business that we work in is so touchy-feely,” Ortega told Vanity Fair.
“Everybody wants to be politically correct, but I feel like, in doing that, we lose a lot of our humanity and integrity, because it lacks honesty,” Ortega continued.
“I wish that we had a better sense of conversation,” she added. “Imagine if everyone could say what they felt and not be judged for it and, if anything, it sparked some sort of debate, not an argument,” Ortega said.

Jenna Ortega Recently Quit The ‘Scream’ Franchise Because Of A Political Issue
Recently, Jenna Ortega quit ‘Scream 7’ after co-star Melissa Barrera was fired from the project. Barrera’s exit was due to a social media post which supported Palestine amid the ongoing conflict with Israel.
Barrera’s post accused Israel of “genocide and ethnic cleansing” and reposted an excerpt from Jewish Currents magazine about distorting “the Holocaust to boost the Israeli arms industry.” After much backlash, she was confirmed to no longer being a part of the project.
Ortega supported her co-star by quitting the project as well. Because both of them left, ‘Scream 7’ was overhauled.
Ortega’s upcoming movie ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ with Tim Burton is a much anticipated movie. Burton had also expressed how Ortega is “one of my favorite people to work with.” Along with Ortega, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara also star in the movie.
