    “My First Thought When I Woke Up…”: Madonna Breaks Silence After Emergency Hospitalization

    Madonna’s hospitalization raised concern among her fans but now she has shared a statement to confirm that she is fine. She even shared a selfie alongside the statement on Instagram.

    The singer was accompanied by her daughter Lourdes Leon at the hospital and she has already returned to her residence. Her health issue also forced her to postpone the Celebration tour and the new dates shall be revealed soon.

    Madonna shared a post on Instagram on July 10, 2023, where she gave an update to her fans regarding her hospitalization. She also added a selfie to the post and started by thanking everyone for their energy, prayers, and words of healing and encouragement.

    Saying that she is on her way to recovery, she wrote, “My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour, I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.”

    She further stated that she will now put her health on priority and try to get back to normal as soon as possible. She added that the North American leg of the tour would be rescheduled and will start in October in Europe.

    Madonna was discovered unresponsive on June 24, 2023, and was immediately hospitalized, eventually being taken to the ICU. Her manager Guy Oseary revealed that she had to stay in the ICU for many days despite that the tube was removed a long time ago.

    Oseary later disclosed on social media that Madonna was suffering from a bacterial infection due to which she had to undergo treatment, adding that her condition was slowly getting better. A source revealed that she has been rehearsing for long hours for her performances.
