Sam Heughan took to Instagram to post a video posted to convey his excitement about seeing Taylor Swift perform this weekend in Poland. The 44-year-old ‘Outlander‘ star extended a warm welcome to her in Edinburgh, Scotland in the video, while also voicing his crush on her.
“We’re going to see Taylor Swift perform in Scotland, and I think most of the cast is coming,” Heughan says in the video, fully dressed in costume. “She doesn’t know this yet, but when she sees me in the audience, she’s going to forget all about…him [Travis Kelce] and fall for a man in a ginger wig,” he said.
With a playful smile, Heughan added, “How can she resist? She’s going to shake him off and choose me instead. I’m really excited!”
The video was paired with Swift’s track ‘Ready For It?’ and captioned, “Welcome to Scotland, Taylor!. JAMMF is a Swiftie,” in reference to his ‘Outlander‘ character, James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser.

Sam Heughan’s Relationship Status Remains A Mystery
The playful video cam as Travis Kelce has been busy with his own work, and has not attended Taylor’s last few concerts as she tours through Europe. Kelce and Swift’s romance began when he planned to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number during her Kansas City Eras Tour stop.
Since then, the couple has been very public with their relationship. Swift attended this year’s Super Bowl to support Kelce, and the two were seen dancing together at the Coachella Music Festival in April. Swift even referenced their relationship in her latest album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department‘.
Meanwhile, Heughan’s relationship status remains a mystery, though he was seen with an unidentified woman in London on May 29. The pair held hands and wore matching all-black outfits as they strolled through the city’s Soho neighborhood. While Heughan has not publicly confirmed any relationships, he has previously mentioned he is “still looking” for the one.
Swift will perform in Edinburgh at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Friday.
