    The reasons for the sudden death of Brandi Mallory, the former ‘Extreme Weight Loss’ contestant, have been revealed. The 40-year-old had died on November 8, after she was last seen driving to a local Chipotle in a CCTV footage by the Atlanta Police Department.

    A report from the Fulton County Medical Examiner revealed that Mallory died because of “complications of obesity“. The report also stated that the death was “natural“, as the medical officials could not find any indications of a lethal injury or foul play.

    The investigation into her death launched by the Atlanta Police Department said that Mallory was last seen at around 5:53 pm as she went towards the local Chipotle. She was seen entering her vehicle from the restaurant, but the vehicle never moved and she did not return home.

    The next day, officials recovered the dead body of the TV reality celebrity in her car outside the restaurant. About a month after that, the autopsy reports have revealed the reason behind her death.

    The report also detailed the substances found inside Mallory’s system. It noted that though some traces of marijuana and alcohol were present in her body, they did not contribute to her demise.

    Mallory’s final rites were performed at Stone Mountain in Georgia on November 20. Several family members and fiends of Mallory’s gathered there to bid adieu to the celebrity. Many remembered her as a vibrant and inspiring person.

    Family And friends Remember Mallory as “Shining Light For Everybody”

    Mallory was laid to rest in Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, Ga, following a public viewing of her body at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tucker, Georgia.

    Former ‘Extreme Weight Losstrainer and host, Chris Powell, remembered Mallory fondly as he recalled how she was “a bright, shining light for everybody around her.” He highlighted how she served as an inspiration for many, as he remarked, “You could feel how free she was”.

    That girl could dance. And she always brought that energy with everything that we were doing,” he said.

    She really owned the body positivity movement. It was great because she was very open about her struggles with her weight and everything, but the fact that she would just get out there and she would just fully express herself, you could feel how free she was. And that in turn inspired so many other people to jump on board to accept and embrace and appreciate their bodies,” he said.

    The autopsy report has marked a closure to Brandi Mallory’s sudden death that had shocked many. Meanwhile, the woman remains an inspiration for many even after her death.
