Curtis has joined the list of celebrities from Hollywood who has called out Kanye West for his anti-semitic tweets. Ye has been active on the micro-blogging site ever since he was ousted from Instagram.

The holiest day in Judaism was last week. Words matter. A threat to Jewish people ended once in a genocide. Your words hurt and incite violence.โ€ she wrote. โ€œYou are a father. Please stop.โ€

The comments come right after Twitter removed the rapper’s tweet on Saturday for violating the platformโ€™s rules after he wrote he was going to go โ€œdeath con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.โ€

โ€œThe funny thing is I actually canโ€™t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,โ€ he had tweeted. Ye is active on Twitter after his Instagram handle was restricted for he repeatedly violated the platform’s rules.

Several Celebrities Have Called Out Ye

Comedian Sarah Silverman has also called out the silence of people outside the Jewish community after Westโ€™s comments. โ€œKanye threatened the Jews yesterday on twitter and itโ€™s not even trending,โ€ she wrote. โ€œWhy do mostly only Jews speak up against Jewish hate? The silence is so loud.โ€

Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport also called the rapper a โ€œcreepโ€ and talked about his previous defense of West during his public spat with Pete Davidson.

The Creative Community for Peace has also condemned the ‘Donda‘ rappers’ remarks. โ€œIn the past week, Ye has spread some of the most vile and age-old stereotypes about Jews to his hundreds of millions of followers,โ€ the organization said.

They continued, โ€œThere should be no place for this kind of hate in our public discourse. We support every entertainerโ€™s right to free speech, but no one has a free pass to target and demonize a minority group with such malice.”
