Zack Snyder’s Doomsday Is Absolutely Terrifying In A New Concept Art To Amuse DC Fans

Other than Kryptonite, the only thing that can demolish Superman is Doomsday. Also, the DC villain has managed to defeat the Justice League single-handedly. Being aware of the legendary character, the fans were highly anticipating his appearance in Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman V Superman’.

Along with the excitement, the fans were highly disappointed with the way Doomsday was depicted on-screen and criticized it. However, a new concept art of the iconic villain might as well be the redemption of the one shown on the big screen.

Ahead of its release, ‘Batman V Superman’ was a highly anticipated film among the fans, sadly the film did not live up to the expectations and one of the most criticized aspects of the film was the on-screen portrayal of the Doomsday.

The issue of the CGI Doomsday was that it was nowhere close to its source material. Concept art revealed by Jerad S. Marantz showcased an alternative design that might be a redemption for the badly designed villain.

The concept art showcased the character’s intimidating appearance with grayish skin usually covered in bony protrusions, sharp teeth, glowing red eyes, and a ferocious demeanor. This design was supposed to be used for the final cut, however, the filmmaker went in the opposite direction and we all know how that turned out.

After James Gunn took over the franchise, there were a lot of changes it underwent. From casting to storyline that made the fans disappointed that Henry Cavill was fired, but also excited as the lineup looked promising. However ‘Superman: Legacy’ being the first film under Gunn’s leadership, many wonder if Doomsday will be a part of it.

Zack Synder’s universe ended with the real Doomsday being out there. However, it seems as though James Gunn is steering away from the Snyderverse. Hence this clash will result in Doomsday never getting a second chance.
