Well, Marvel Boss Kevin Feige surprised all at San Diego Comic-Con when he announced that the next ‘Avengers’ sequels — ‘Avengers 5′ and ‘Avengers 6′ — will be called ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’

All You Need To Know About ‘Secret Wars’
Marvel recently announced that ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ would be a part of their new addition ‘Multiverse Saga’. So, The preliminary details of the comic featuring Secret Wars are quite compulsory. Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars, also called Secret Wars, is a twelve-issue American comic book crossover limited series published between May 1984 and April 1985. While Jim Shooter gets all the credit for pennig the masterpiece, Mike Zeck and Bob Layton were the ones who made the story lively with their unique arts. It was tied in with a toy line of the same name from Mattel.
It was the first time that a comic book had a large plot that structurally changed the way that the characters and the universe were perceived. So, the story starts with all the heroes and Villains being transported onto two vessels against their will. The vessel with the heroes include the Avengers, The X-Men, The Fantastic Four, Spiderman, Magneto and Spiderwoman as well. On the other hand, the villains include Doctor Doom, Ultron, Galactus, and Molecule Man, Doctor Octopus and many more. Perhaps the most important character in the film is Kang the Conqueror, as ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ is set to explore his storyline.
Well, the place where these superheroes are reaching is battleworld. It is formed with various pieces of the universe, including Denver, Colorado from Earth. Then, a proposition is given from the Beyonder: “I am from beyond! Slay your enemies and all you desire shall be yours! Nothing you dream of is impossible for me to accomplish!”
The main motive is to induce a brutal destructive fight between the superheroes and the villains. The conflict takes no time to arise. Multiple skirmishes occur between the heroes and the villains, including an entire mountain range being placed on top of the heroes which the Hulk holds up just long enough for the heroes to make an escape. Anyway, things take a different turn though when Doctor Doom usurps the Beyonder’s power.

There are a handful of characters who had to sacrifice their lives in the long run of the storyline of Secret Wars. Some of the major casualties were: Benjamin Grimm (Earth-616), Peter Parker (Earth-616), Beyonder (Earth-9811), Charles Xavier (Earth-616), Bruce Banner (Earth-616), Galactus’ Cat (Earth-616), Clinton Barton (Earth-616), James Howlett (Earth-616), Reed Richards (Earth-9811), James Rhodes (Earth-616), Steven Rogers (Earth-616), Jennifer Walters (Earth-616), Venom (Symbiote) (Earth-616), and Julia Carpenter (Earth-616).
The Reception
Jonathan Hickman, the one who penned the entire masterpiece achieved huge fame with the storyline. ‘Secret Wars’ has an average 8.2 rating in the comic book roundup.
One fan praised it and wrote on Google review, “Secret Wars #1 gives readers a look at the end of the Marvel Universe as we know it. What is coming next, I have no clue but I will tell you this: the fact that I have to wait a week for more of this pisses me off because it is damn good. Hickman, Ribic and Svorcina are the A-list team an event like this deserves and I’m all in for this mayhem. Time has run out, so many huge events occur in this issue that I don’t even know where to start, and I’m crazy excited for them all. Bring it on, Hickman. I’m ready for your Secret Wars.”
