Kevin Feige Finally Comments On Ryan Gosling And Cynthia Erivo Joining MCU

Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige is no stranger to telling his fans what they want to hear. Now, he has done it again. Feige was talking about ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ when he was asked about two of the most popular fan-castings from the MCU: Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider and Cynthia Erivo as Storm. 

Rather than putting out the rumors, he gave a response that has only further fuelled the flames.

Feige’s words may not have been a casting confirmation. But they were enough to keep hope alive for fans of Marvel who have been promoting both actors for years. “You never know what the future may bring,” Feige said, praising both actors as “very good” while calling Ghost Rider and Storm “great characters.”

Ryan Gosling has been a vocal supporter of playing Ghost Rider, and has been among the most mentioned actors for the role. Whereas Cynthia Erivo has made it clear that she is interested in playing one of the X-Men’s most popular and powerful mutants.

Feige’s remarks are timed to coincide with a big change in the MCU. The Multiverse Saga is nearing its end, and Marvel is slowly bringing in the X-Men, and there’s been a lot of speculation about what new characters will be added. While Marvel Studios has yet to reveal its plans, Feige’s refusal to dismiss the idea has encouraged audiences to keep dreaming.

It’s not all about casting big names. Ghost Rider and Storm are two key areas of Marvel’s future storytelling. Ghost Rider would introduce the MCU into the supernatural realm, adding a darker and more mystical element to the franchise.

However, Feige’s words ensure that neither possibility has been ruled out. Now, until Marvel officially announces its next wave of casting, it’s unlikely that the conversation will die down.
