After scarring the audience in ‘It’, Skarsgård is now all set to play Count Orlok in Robert Eggers’ ‘Nosferatu’. Bill Skarsgård’s preparation for the role has been tough and it did take a toll on him as well. His hair, makeup, and costume have been tightly kept under wraps.
“He’s gross. But it is very sexualized. It’s playing with a sexual fetish about the power of the monster and what that appeal has to you,” Skarsgård said while describing his character. The ‘John Wick’ actor hopes that the audience will love his work but still feel a bit of hate for the character as well.

Bill Skarsgård Is Excited About Working With Robert Eggers
Trust Robert Eggers to deliver a bone-chilling and creepy horror movie. And Skarsgård is no less than a fan of his brilliance. The ‘Barbarian’ actor said that he’s long dreamed of collaborating with Eggers. “You get a crush on someone — you can’t stop thinking about that person. I’ve only had it a few times, but that was so true with Robert,” he said.
Skarsgård added, “It was like, ‘Whatever this guy does, I just want to be a part of anything that this guy is making.’” In fact, Bill Skarsgård was so desperate to work with Eggers that he went above and beyond by writing a “long, pleading email to Robert.” And thus, he successfully landed the role.
