‘Fantastic Four’ which is set to release in 2025 has confirmed the cast. The four actors set to represent the Fantastic Four are Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. However, another addition has been made to the cast.
Despite the details not being released as of yet for the upcoming film, according to Screenrant Emmy winner Julia Garner will join the movie. The actress will allegedly portray Shalla-Bal’ who is a version of the Silver Surfer.
Additionally, while Garner is playing the role of the Silver Surfer in the upcoming film, in the comics Shalla-Bal is the love interest of the character. The addition of the iconic character has been much awaited by the MCU fans. However, there is no confirmation regarding the news by Marvel itself.
Shalla-Bal had previously also been the Silver Surfer in the alternate reality of Marvel’s Earth-9997. She is given the same powers as him so they can both be silver surfers together.
Who Is Julia Garner?
Julia Garner is a talented American actress known for her roles in both film and television. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Ruth Langmore in the Netflix series ‘Ozark,’ for which she won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She gave a brilliant performance as con artist Anna Sorokin in ‘Inventing Anna‘.
Garner has also appeared in films such as ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene,’ ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower,’ and ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.” She’s admired for her versatility and captivating performances. So, it’s not surprising that she was cast for the ‘Fantastic Four’ alongside the star cast.
