Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are coming together again for the prequel of ‘Oceans‘ and fans are excited to see the acting powerhouses bringing new life to the Oceans franchise.
One of the OG cast members of the series- George Clooney who played Danny Ocean reacted to this news and how he feels about Margot and Ryan playing his parents.

George Clooney As Danny Ocean
The ‘Oceans‘ trilogy, which included ‘Ocean’s Eleven‘ (2001), ‘Ocean’s Twelve‘ (2004), and ‘Ocean’s Thirteen‘ (2007), had George Clooney portray the character of Danny Ocean.
Danny Ocean craftily leads a crew of talented thieves to carry out intricate heists. The series was directed by Steven Soderbergh and was carried out by the likes of stars like Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and Brad Pitt.
Originally, Bruce Willis was supposed to play the part but later denied the role because of scheduling conflict.
The film remains to be one of the most beloved movies in the heist comedy genre and Clooney’s character is central in the trilogy. After more than a decade after the last film, a prequel to the film was announced, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

Ryan Gosling And Margot Robbie Will Play George Clooney’s Parents
Margot and Ryan’s chemistry in ‘Barbie‘ was impeccable and carried the film. To the audience’s delight, the couple is reuniting for another film – and this time, it’s a heist comedy.
The prequel to the ‘Oceans‘ series will feature the ‘Barbie‘ stars and they will play Danny Ocean’s parents. The plot of the film isn’t out yet but director Jay Roach revealed that the film is set in Monte Carlo in 1962. He also said that it is an “old-fashioned epic love story slash adventure disguised as a heist movie.”
In an interview, George Clooney spoke about what he felt about Margot and Ryan playing his parents. The actor said with approval, “Margot Robbie’s my mother? I’ve always thought that. And Ryan Gosling is my father, and when you think about it, it makes sense. Truly.”
