‘Role Play’: Cast, Plot And Release Date Of Kaley Cuoco’s Action Thriller Film

We are officially entering 2024 with Kaley Cuoco’s new action-packed comedy ‘Role Play‘ that will have those movie night fights stay aside. To all the ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith‘ fans, wake up, there’s a new risky couple in the neighborhood.

Amazon Prime’s upcoming action comedy seems mostly what it sounds like. The role-play is there, but what’s it actually about? That is what the husband Dave played by David Oyelowo has to find out. The brilliant idea is to spice up the marriage with his wife Emma played by our favorite ‘Big Bang Theory’ girl Kaley Cuoco. All of the events will lead to the uncovering of the biggest secret she has kept.

Plot Of ‘Role Play’

Kaley Cuoco as Emma in the film ‘Role Play’

A happily married couple with children decides to celebrate their anniversary night by role-playing. Little did they know that this role-playing would reveal the dangerous role Emma plays on her long work trips. On their anniversary, Dave finds that his sweet, suburban wife is actually an assassin, notorious for contract killing.

Now just because it’s not a hallmark classic doesn’t mean it won’t set the standard when it comes to men in love. Finding out your wife is a renowned assassin would have most men running in the direction of a divorce lawyer but Dave runs to the airport to keep the mother of his children safe. Yes, the one who kills people for a living.

The film’s synopsis reads, “Emma has a wonderful husband and two kids in the suburbs of New Jersey—she also has a secret life as an assassin for hire, a secret that her husband David discovers when the couple decides to spice up their marriage with a little role play.”
