With the success of ‘Murder Mystery,’ Netflix has quickly rolled out the sequel. The first official trailer for ‘Murder Mystery 2‘ was released in less than 24 hours, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Despite their best efforts, the couple ends up in the middle of another adventure.

‘Murder Mystery 2’: Plot Details
The trailer literally begins with a bang. Nick (Adam Sandler) and Audrey (Jennifer Aniston) sheepishly appear out of a helicopter. We then circle back to the couple receiving a destination wedding invitation from Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar).
The couple hops on to the invitation but experiences a deja-vu when the groom is abducted before the wedding. It falls on them to pay the ransom and safely retrieve Maharaja to his home. But it has to be done without butting heads with police officials and accidentally killing people they come across during their rescue operations.
The official plot of ‘Murder Mystery 2’ reads, “Full-time detectives Nick and Audrey are struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground. They find themselves at the center of international abduction when their friend Maharaja, is kidnapped at his own lavish wedding.“

‘Murder Mystery 2’: Cast And Release Date
Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston will return as Nick and Audrey Spitz. Adeel Akhtar, John Kani, and Danny Boon will also reprise their roles of Maharaja, Colonel Ulenga, and Inspector de la Croix, respectively, from the first film.
Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Enrique Arce, and Tony Goldwyn are joining the globe-trotting sequel. Annie Mumolo, Wilmer Valderrama, Zurin Villanueva, and Kuhoo Verma are other new additions to the action-comedy sequel.
Written by James Vanderbilt and directed by Jeremy Garelick, the action-comedy ‘Murder Mystery 2’ is scheduled for March 31, 2023, to be released on Netflix.
