Sydney Sweeney Turns Both Her Grandmothers Into ‘Little Old Nuns’
The ‘Reality’ star recently made an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘. While on the talk show, Sweeney shared many details on her recent projects and some fun facts from each one. Among the sea on many this one seemed to catch on the moment. The MTV award winner shared that she cast her two grandmothers as extras in her movie’ Immaculate’.
‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ actress said, “They’d never been to Europe. My grandy’s dream was to go to Italy, she’s never left the country before, and so I surprised them, flew them there, and I let them be extras in the movie.” Giving their role the appropriate title that it deserves she said, “They were like little old nuns in there,” The actress even showcased an iconic photo of her grandmother taking a smoke break in full nun attire.

Sydney On Producing Her First Ever Project ‘Immaculate’
In a conversation with the talk show host Jimmy Fallon, Sweeney shared that her love for horror films comes from her father for he is a big fan of them. ‘Immaculate’ was Sydney’s first ever project that she’s been involved in from every direction. The actress stated, “I auditioned for a version of this movie when I was 16 and they never made it. So, 10 years later, I decided to make it.”
Opening about the process Sweeney started, “I called my agents and I said, ‘I can’t get this script out of my mind. What’s happened with it?’ I then contacted the writer and we then wrote it to match a 25-year-old and then I attached producers to it and took it to a financier and I hired a director. … It was the first thing I ever produced. It was amazing.”
‘Immaculate’ is set to hit theaters on March 22 of this year, now which recent Sydney Sweeney movie this one mirrors will be fun to see.
