Lisa Reassures Fans That Blackpink Will Continue To Perform Despite Solo Careers
As fans pointed out, after Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose launched their solo debuts, the band paused their performances and projects for a while. The members however continued to promote their singles and new music. This led to many fans believing that Blackpink will possibly not get back together again, and will most likely continue with their solo careers instead.
Lisa, however, gave fans new hope as she confirmed that the band isn’t breaking up anytime soon and is thrilled to be continuing as a group.
Speaking to ELLE, the rapper said, “Of course we’re continuing, for sure. We’re so proud of Blackpink, and I love Blackpink. It is not just because of our fans, it’s for ourselves.” She then added in Korean, “There was no doubt. This is our life.”
She then spoke about watching Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and how much it inspired her as an artist to perform better. “It feels like a dream. I’m not sure if it’s real or not. She’s incredible! Singing alone on a stage for three and a half hours is crazy…I maybe could do it with a lot of practice,” she said.
