After the shoot, Sabrina started receiving backlash from Taylor Swift‘s fans as many pointed out that it was wrong on Sabrina’s end to collaborate with her friend’s arch enemy. Taylor Swift’s Reaction To Sabrina Carpenter Collaborating With Kim Kardashian
Swifties were quick to attack Sabrina Carpenter because of her SKIMS campaign as many found it weird for her to collaborate with Kim Kardashian despite her close friendship with Taylor Swift. Though the backlash has now died down, the ‘Espresso‘ singer cleared it out for fans as she talked about how the situation was dealt with.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about it, Carpenter said, “I’ve been very, very communicative with her about that situation, and I just love her so much and support her till the end,” before adding, “So it was no weirdness for me, but I know people will just say things because that’s all they have time to do.”
She then gushed about Swift and said, “We’re very, very verbal with each other about our mutual love and admiration. I hold her to such a different echelon.”
Sabrina has been Swift’s fan for a long time. Since 2008, she uploaded videos of herself singing her songs on Youtube. After Swift revealed in June 2023 that Carpenter would be opening for her during some parts of the Eras Tour, their friendship truly took off. In October 2023, Carpenter and Swift went to a Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer on Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. In April they were even seen hanging out during Coachella weekend one.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Next Album
The pop star has a packed summer ahead of her. After the huge success of her song ‘Espresso’ she dropped another single from her upcoming album ‘Short n Sweet’ called ‘Please Please Please’.
The song, along with which she also released a music video, hard launched her relationship with Barry Keoghan and has also been climbing on top of charts, giving her another moment of success. Apart from that she has also been performing constantly and has recently confirmed that there would be a tour for ‘Short N Sweet’.
