    BTS Announce Next Album As They Wrap Up Blockbuster Las Vegas Residency Tour

    BTS needs no introduction, the band has been reaching out to the world with its wonderful music, and the Korean wave has swept the globe. The band did not look back after making its debut in 2013. The Bangtan Boys, popularly known as BTS is the best-selling act in South Korean history, with over 32 million records sold on the Gaon Music Chart, and the best-selling album in South Korea, Map of the Soul: 7.

    BTS’ “Permission to Dance On Stage – Las Vegas” residency has ended, but their fans have now got reason to rejoice as the boy band has set a release date for their upcoming album.

    The group presented a teaser video for the fans during their final Vegas gig on Saturday night, which showed black-and-white footage of each member — Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — before saying the words “We Are Bulletproof” in unison, followed by a date: June 10, 2022.

    Although the album’s title is not final yet, the tagline for the new period appears to be “We Are Bulletproof. BigHit Music, confirmed the news on Weverse, on Sunday, releasing a statement that an album will be released in just over two months. The Note reads, “Hello,” This is Big Hit Music. BTS will be back with another new album on June 10, 2022. Details on the new album will be provided in a separate notice at a later date. We look forward to your love and support for BTS’ new album. Thank you.”

    This will be the group’s first album since the Billboard 200-topping Be, which included their first two individual Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 songs, “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On,” in November 2020. Since then, they’ve had two more solo No. 1 singles: “Butter,” which spent ten weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, and “Permission to Dance.” They’ve also topped the charts with remixes of “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” by Jawsh 685 and Jason DeRulo and Coldplay’s “My Universe.”

    BTS performed four shows at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas during the previous two weekends. On April 8, 9, 15, and 16, the band performed in front of a crowd of about 65,000 people at the almost 65,000-seat stadium.
