Camille Vasquez, Johnny Depp’s Attorney, Helps A Fellow Passenger During A Medical Emergency On The Flight

Camille Vasquez, the attorney who defended Johnny Depp during the Depp vs. Heard trial, is back in the spotlight for her heroic actions during an emergency situation involving an elderly fellow traveler.

Vasquez and her security were traveling from Los Angeles to New York on American Airlines when they saw a man in his 70s collapse to the ground as he passed past her first-class seat. Vasquez, like the wonderful person she is, came to the rescue.

When a man in his seventies, who was walking by her in first-class, collapsed to the ground and hit his head. Vasquez and the bodyguard sprang up out of their seats to assist the victim before a surgeon on board took over the situation. After the jet landed back at LAX and the passenger became conscious, emergency medical technicians removed him from the aircraft.

After the man was injured in the fall, Vasquez reportedly got in touch with her physician brother-in-law to get some assistance in establishing whether the man had a heart attack or a brain hemorrhage. The attorney’s security personnel used an Apple Watch in order to measure the man’s heart rate.

They ultimately landed in Los Angeles, where they were met by emergency personnel, and the efforts to save the man were eventually taken over by a surgeon that was traveling with them.

A bottle of merlot and some champagnes were presented to her as a token of appreciation for her efforts by the flight attendants, who christened her “Wonder Woman.”

Her other travelers have already expressed their gratitude to her for the bravery she displayed.

Derek Walls, who serves as the spokesperson for American Airlines, has verified the story and stated, “On June 20, American Airlines flight 184 with service from Los Angeles (LAX) to New York (JFK) returned to Los Angeles due to the medical needs of a customer.”
