For years now, Samuel L. Jackson has been dropping hints about his future plans with Marvel, but what exactly does he have in store for us? In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Samuel L. Jackson discussed his participation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and revealed details about his character.
In “Spider-Man: Far From Home“, audiences last saw Fury as Talos, an impersonation of him, before the post-credits sequence revealed the real Fury to be in some sort of Skrull laboratory. Skrulls that invaded Fury’s home planet were indeed in Secret Invasion. Fury and Ben Mendelsohn (as Talos) would be returning to Earth to find them. Still, he would be doing it without his trademark eye patch.
Even after working alongside Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers on The Marvels, there are no hints of where the former SHIELD director will head when next year’s filming wraps up. Jackson, on the other hand, gave fans a taste of what to anticipate from the longstanding Marvel character before his first live-action film in four years.

Samuel L. Jackson, star of Marvel films, was recently interviewed by Entertainment Weekly, and through the course of their conversation, he provided some hints about the direction Nick Fury may take within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
During the episode titled “Secret Invasion,” Jackson dropped hints that people would find out more about Fury than they ever had before, which would result in both an “evolution of his tale” and a “devolution of his story.”
What Will Samuel L. Jackson Do In Upcoming MCU projects?
In spite of the fact that he has worked in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a significant amount of time, Samuel L. Jackson will play a major role in the next film “Secret Invasion“. As a result of Jackson’s comment that the movie will do more than simply depict the character as a badass, we can expect more of Fury’s background exploration.
