Due to her frugal health, she could not attend many important events like the Platinum Jubilee tour across Commonwealth nations. There was uncertainty looming over the cause of her death.     National Records Of Scotland Document Reveals The Cause Of Death Of Queen Elizabeth II

    The former Queen of Britain was laid peacefully after the state funeral in Westminster Abbey on September 19, 2022. The burial ceremony took place at Windsor Castle. Now, three weeks after her death, the cause of it has been revealed. When the Royal Palace released the official statement, it said, “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon [September 8th, 2022]”

    In a newly released document, the cause is cited as “old age.” Princess Anne, the only daughter of the late Queen confirmed the cause as per the document.

    In a statement, Princess Anne said, “I was fortunate to share the last 24 hours of my dearest Mother’s life.” In the document, they provided additional details. It included “Windsor” as her surname with “Elizabeth Alexandra Mary” as her full name.

    King Charles III Succeeded The Throne After Queen’s Death

    After the demise, with the order of succession, King Charles III ascended the monarch’s throne. After the succession, he said, “I am deeply aware of this great inheritance and of the duties and heavy responsibilities of sovereignty which have now passed to me. In taking up these responsibilities, I shall strive to follow the inspiring example I have been set.”

    In a statement following his mother’s demise, he said, “The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen is a moment of the greatest sadness for me.”  He continued, “We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother.”

    He acknowledged the effect of her death, “I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.”
