Meghan Markle made her first speech at the Invictus Games 2023, where she took her chance to apologize to the crowd for her late arrival. “It is so special to be here, and I’m sorry I’m a little late for the party,” the actress said. “Just like so many of you, we know this is about family and friends and the community that Invictus has created, that Fischer House has created, and so I had to just spend a little bit more time getting our little ones settled home,” Meghan Markle said in her speech.
The mother of two did not forget to give a shout-out to her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet. The former ‘Suits’ actress had been “getting milkshakes, doing school drop off,” before leaving to accompany her husband at the Games.
