In retaliation, the royal family has also ousted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The couple were told to vacate Frogmore Cottage after King Charles III became the monarch of the UK. They were even demoted to ‘others’ from ‘non-working royals’. Nevertheless, the couple recently extended an olive branch during the monarch’s birthday, but the media publicity of the incident has irked King Charles III.

King Charles III Blames Prince Harry For Leaking The News Of The Private Call
On November 14, 2023, King Charles III celebrated his 75th birthday at the Clarence House with his family, including Princess Anne, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla.
There were rumors that Prince Harry declined the invitation from the palace for his birthday. However, Harry’s spokesperson said that he did not get any invitations from the palace.
But, as per the Telegraph, Prince Harry called his father, King Charles III, to extend his birthday wishes. Meghan Markle also talked to the monarch. Harry’s children also wished their grandfather a happy birthday with a pre-recorded video.
However, King Charles III is not very happy with the news leaking in the media, and he has blamed Prince Harry for this.
A royal expert, Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, told GB News, “He’s trying very much to have the focus on his public life and whilst, of course, as a loving father he’s very happy to have a conversation with his estranged son, he wasn’t the one who was leaking this to them to the press.” As per Rafe, Charles is blaming Harry.

The Family Employed Media To Malign The Couple’s Image
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been releasing content that has tarnished the public image of the royal family. Through the Netflix docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan’ and Prince Harry’s memoir, ‘Spare’, the couple has leveled many allegations against several members of the family. Due to this, the visibility of the family has reduced, with the couple taking the spotlight.
A source told the Byline Times that the royal family is unable to digest the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dominating the media narrative without the control of the royal media institution.
So, as per the outlet, the family “tried everything to make it fail, starting with the removal of security and then signing off on a 12-month assault by the UK press on Harry and Meghan and everyone in their orbit.”
