Here’s How Kate Middleton And Prince Harry Are Celebrating Their Anniversary
Taking to Instagram to share a beautiful picture from their wedding 13 years ago, Kate Middleton and Prince William gave fans an insight into their wedding day with a beautiful black and white photo, with a caption that said, “13 years ago today!”
Photographed in front of William in her classic Sarah Burton wedding gown and Cartier halo tiara, Kate—who was recently named “Royal Companion of The Order of the Companions of Honour” by King Charles III—is holding her bouquet, which includes hyacinth, myrtle, and ily of the valley. Will, for his part, appears in the photo wearing his black Blues and Royals coat, both of them smiling ear to ear.
As for plans for their special day, sources imply that there might not be any big ceremony. Maybe just an intimate dinner between the two as the Prince cooks for Kate. “With everything going on with Kate, that won’t be a public thing, that’s going to be very private. Behind closed doors, I’m sure William will work to make sure she’s spoiled,” the source told the Royal Observer. “It’s possible William might cook, he’s quite a good cook so it’s possible he might do a little meal or something.”

Kate And William: 13 Years Of Togetherness
The Prince and Princess of Wales were friends at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where they first met in 2001. The pair announced their engagement in 2010 and married formally in 2011 after dating for almost eight years on and off. Three children have been added to their family since then: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Their journey from being college sweethearts to now being future rulers of England has been a tough one, nonetheless, especially with the scrutiny it comes from a public marriage, these include William being at the receiving end of rumors that he cheated on Kate, and conspiracy theories surrounding Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis.
This anniversary is a particularly difficult one for the couple after Kate announced her cancer diagnosis publicly earlier this year. After a long disappearance that started getting fans concerned for her well-being, the Princess came forward with a bold heart to announce the details of her diagnosis. Since then it has been said that Prince William has not left her side and the entire family is dealing with the situation delicately, also while raising three very young children.
As for their anniversary, here’s wishing the royal couple a lot of love and light. As future rulers of England, they have fared well so far. Most likely, more details about how they have spent their special day will ensue soon.
