Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not ready to digest the fact that their children will grow up with the influence of social media. The couple have two children – 4-year-old Archie Harrison and 2-year-old Lilibet Lili Diana. Though her kids are young, the mother of two raised concerns as social media is something that will not disappear anytime soon.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties back in 2020. The couple slowly separated from their family across the Atlantic, to build an abode in California. Their toddler, Archie, is currently attending a preschool in Montecito. Lilibet turned two recently.

Meghan Markle Fears Her Kids Growing Up Amidst Social Media Popularity
On October 10, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were part of the Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Festival in New York City. The mother of two raised her concerns about children growing up in the presence of social media.
The former ‘Suits’ actress noted how “social media isn’t going away”, which causes her to fear for her children who are growing up. She also pointed out how the media is taking a serious toll on mental health.
The Archewell Foundation started by the couple has put in their efforts to work with parents who have lost their children due to mental health issues related to social media. “They say being a parent, the days are long but the years are short, so it worries me. But I’m also given a lot of hope and energy by the progress we’ve made in the past year,” the Duchess of Sussex said at the event. The actress also added how awareness and a sense of safety can make a significant change over time.

Prince Harry Emphasizes On Turning ‘Pain Into Pleasure’
Prince Harry also chimed in with his idea of what he expects to help individuals who face mental stress from social media. “The priority here is to again turn pain into purpose,” the Duke of Sussex has pointed.
Talking at the panel, the 39-year-old resonated with the world of his foundation. Providing the ‘spotlight and a platform’, the Duke points out, can help the parents who lost their children to grieve, heal and find a solution for the future.
Meeting with young students at The Marcy Lab School, Meghan Markle pointed out the ‘vulnerability’ showcased in social media. She encouraged the students to make up right decisions to be valued and to grow up on the right path.
