Kristen Stewart may have been the celebrity crush of teenagers around the globe once, but the actress has gradually emerged as a powerful LGBTQI icon in Hollywood. After she came out as gay, Stewart has often strongly spoken up for her community and also tried to spread awareness about homophobia which is still quite rampant in Hollywood.
During her recent appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, the actress was day drinking with Meyers and as the conversation progressed, the host found himself undergoing an unexpected “lesbian makeover”. Here’s what happened.
Kristen Stewart Gives Seth Meyers A Makeover On His Show While Day Drinking
After having a few movie-themed cocktails on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, Kristen Stewart made her host undergo a “lesbian makeover” after Meyers, in a moment of whimsy, implored her to do so.
“Here’s the deal, Kristen Stewart, I have a bunch of lesbian accessories and clothes behind us, and I am now counting on you to turn me into a lesbian icon,” Meyers said, as Stewart broke out laughing. “For the first time ever in day drinking: it’s the lesbian makeover,” he said.
“Oh, God,” Stewart groaned as Meyers continued to implore her by saying, “Just do it!”
As Stewart sifted through the wardrobe options, she couldn’t help but remark on their retro charm, deeming them “dated“. She however also noted their resurgence in contemporary fashion. As Meyers now eagerly awaited his transformation, Stewart assembled an outfit and set the stage for a dramatic reveal.
As Seth Meyers tried the clothes chosen by Kristen Stewart, he called out Kristen. “Hey Kristen,” he said from the other side once he was ready. “Announce me!”

Stewart gave the camera an unsure look, and hesitantly called out, “Seth, you wanna come out?” Meyers then emerged from behind a makeshift changing room in a denim jacket, white t-shirt, black jeans, and wire-framed glasses. Adding the finishing flourish, Stewart put an olive beanie on his head — and the look was complete.
“Dude! You look [bleeping] cool. Do you not feel cooler than you’ve ever felt?” Stewart exclaimed, proud at the results of her efforts. “I feel as though I’ve reverted to what I’m supposed to be,” Meyers agreed.
The surprises on the show did not end there. Stewart herself also underwent an impromptu costume change, swapping her black Chanel t-shirt for a plain white crop top midway through the session.
Meyers, ever the observant host, teased Stewart about her preparedness. “You did a costume change,” Meyers said. Stewart responded, “This is what it’s like to get drunk with me.”
While it’s not clear if Stewart had to change her costume because of an alcohol spill during their drinking session, Meyers did not leave the chance to poke fun at the actress. “So do you always, like, bring a duffle to the bar?” he asked.
“Only if I have to go on, like, Seth Meyers bulls—!” Stewart rsponded with a joke.
