Hinata showcased his abilities in the first episode itself. Hinata had a match against Kageyama in junior high and although Hinata’s team lost miserably, the viewers got to see Hinata’s skills. Hinata is quite tenacious and does not give up hope easily and thus does not lose hope even if his team was losing.

During the match, Hinata declares rivalry against Kageyama and Kageyama dislikes Hinata as well. During the match, one of Hinata’s teammates tosses the ball in a direction where there is no one present. Hinata using his amazing reflexes reaches the ball and spikes it surprising everyone present there.

    9) Asahi’s Delayed Spike

Azumane Asahi is Karasuno’s ace and this particular proves this point. Karasuno was in a tough spot during the Inarizaki match due to Suna Rintarou and the Miya twins. For once, Nishinoya was scared in a match. Asahi rises to the occasion in true ace fashion and saves the day.

Asahi times his jump with the blockers. He had been trying to perfect this technique since Karsuno’s practice match against Date Tech. He times his jump and makes sure that the blockers are going down before he spikes the ball. This technique led to Karasuno scoring a much-needed point.

    8) King Of The Court Re-Crowned

Kageyama always hated his nickname ‘King of the court’ given to him by his former teammates. He managed to overcome this trouble in season 3. However, after coming back from the all-youth training camp, he seemed to have regressed to his former self.

Kageyama played with some elite athletes in the all-youth training camp who managed to hit all his tosses. He expected the same in Karasuno but when that didn’t happen; he regressed to his old rude self. Hinata was the one who managed to get him out of that place. He told Kageyama that there was nothing wrong with being a king and encouraged him. This is one of the most meaningful moments in the entire show.

    7) Oikawa Sets To Iwaizumi

The Karsuno V/S Seijoh matches are always intense and action-packed, be it an official match or a practice match. The second official match, however, was one of the most intense matches in the entire anime of Haikyuu!!‘. Karasuno played wonderfully and Kageyama showed his true abilities as a setter.

However, Seijoh was not an easy opponent. They made it very difficult for Karasuno to win. One of the best moments of the entire match was when Oikawa tossed Iwaizumi from one end to the other. Seijoh had a receive that went in a direction where there was no one and Oikawa went to receive it. He tossed the ball immediately to Iwaizumi who scored a point.

    6) Nishinoya’s Double Save

The match against Shiratorizawa pushed Karasuno to its limits. Karasuno, trying to prove themselves to everyone present there fought with everything they had. However, they were stretched thin by the middle of the match.

In the heat of the moment, Shiratorizawa made a furious attack which left captain Daichi, frozen. He was unable to react to it. At that moment, Nishinoya proved his worth as

libero and made an amazing save. Shiratorizawa spikes another attack however Nishinoya manages to defend that as well while being in an impossible position.

    5) Hinata’s Receive

Hinata Shoyo was the key to Karasuno’s offense. He had amazing reflexes, great speed, and impressive jumping prowess. He, however, was not very good at defense or receiving. However, in the match against Inarizaki, Hinata does something that stuns the entire team.

In a moment where Karasuno was corned, Ojiro Aran, Inarizaki’s ace hits a spike from one of Atsumu’s tosses hoping to get a point. While it was an amazing spike, Hinata expected it and received the spike perfectly shocking his teammates and the onlookers.

    4) Hinata Breaking The High-Speed Game

Hinata managed to shock everyone with his perfect receive which stopped Aran’s attack, but Hinata had another moment that helped him gain confidence that he is useful and a great player even without Kageyama.

During the last set, the game turned fast-paced, so much so, that it became difficult for both teams to even breathe. Tanaka rebounded his spike due to his being aware of the blockers. Hinata managed to receive the rebound and he shot it high so that the ball comes down slowly and gives time for the time to regain their breath. This helped Karasuno win against Inarizaki.

    3) Karasuno V/S Seijoh Final Point

The Karasuno and seijoh match was much anticipated by the ‘Haikyuu!!‘ viewers. It was a sort of revenge match for Karasuno as they lost their previous match to Seijoh.

Although both teams exhibit high levels of expertise, only one team is declared the winner. Excellent collaboration and tenacity are displayed by Karasuno, who defeats Aoba Johsai with a searing flame. Tanaka saves the ball as it moves through the hands of the two opponents, and Asahi scores the final blasting point for Karasuno.

    2) Kageyama And Hinata Block The Miya Twins

It was a shock for the Karasuno team especially Kageyama and Hinata to see the Miya Twins perform an attack that was supposed to be unique to them. However, they got over the shock during the match. The inarizaki and Karasuno match was quite amazing and intense. However, the final point is the best part of the match.

The Miya twins used their quick attack to try and score a breakpoint. The entire Karasuno team got flustered by it and were a little late reacting to it, except Hinata and Kageyama. They anticipated the attack and blocked it. This resulted in them scoring the final point needed for Karasuno to win.

    1) Tsukishima Blocks Ushijima

The reason why this moment is chosen as the top moment is because of Tsukishima. This was the moment Tsukishima got hooked on volleyball and knew he wanted to play seriously. Tsukishima has a tale of how fear turned him into a lifeless, uninteresting individual. Tsukishima was simply discouraged by the fact that his brother put so much effort into practicing but was never selected for the team.

He made a very elaborate plan to block Ushijima and he only managed to do it once, but it made the fans go crazy. The reason is that they can see Tsukishima breaking his cool and collected persona to scream after that one point. Even after the new season comes, this remains the top moment in ‘Haikyuu!!
