When Christina Spoke About Her Devastating Loss

It was in November 2020 that Christina Perri spoke about her heart-breaking loss. She revealed that she was in her third trimester when her daughter was stillborn. The baby girl was due in January 2021.

At the time, the “Thousand Years” singer shared her thoughts in an emotional post which read, “Last night we lost our baby girl. She was born silent after fighting so hard to make it to our world. She is at peace now and will live forever in our hearts.”

On November 21, 2021, the singer honored the 1-year anniversary of Rosie’s death by releasing a lullaby album titled ‘Songs for Rosie’. She said, “It was the best way to honor Rosie. When she passed away, I felt like the songs took on a different meaning, but they’re still my song choices for her.

Christina Perri has been to the hospital due to pregnancy complications in the past and even suffered a miscarriage when she was 11 weeks pregnant in January 2020.
