Wiz Khalifa is known for many things other than his music. The rapper is a chain smoker and often records and performs his songs under the influence of marijuana. He is also known for his brutal frankness in almost all regards. The rapper has been pretty open about his use of cannabis.
Though we live in a world where societal expectations often dictate parental conduct, rapper Wiz Khalifa remains unfazed by those expectations. He believes in blazing his own trail, unapologetically. In line with his beliefs, the rapper recently showed up to his son Sebastian’s parent-teacher conferences in a stoned condition.

Wiz Khalifa Says He Shows Up Stoned At Meetings Because “They Expect It”
Wiz Khalifa opened up about something he recently did at his son’s school, that many might find highly problematic. The 36-year-old rapper, a father to a 10-year-old boy, was speaking on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast when he revealed that he showed up to one of his child’s school meetings in a stoned state.
Speaking openly and unapologetically about his lifestyle choices yet again, Wiz Khalifa was responding to host Alex Cooper’s question about attending school meetings while under the influence of marijuana. “Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it,” he said.
“They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day [where] you’re considered a bad parent if you smoke weed. I’m pretty sure my son smells like weed. I don’t know because I can’t smell it but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot,” Khalifa explained with a nonchalant attitude.

“It’s Really What I Believe In”: Wiz Khalifa Defends Being Real About Who He Is
Wiz Khalifa said he wants to be real with the world, and not cater to the demands that a typical society puts forth for a parent. “And yeah I’m pulling up stoned, I’m pulling up high because I want them to connect with the real me.”
“They’re not going to get a fake version of me or this made-up parent that society makes you think that you’re supposed to be. I am who I am, and it’s not because I’m a celebrity or anything,” he added.
“But it’s because it’s really what I believe in and why not get the real me?” he said. “Why would I have to change who I am or act like I’m not that just for these places that I’m going to go? That’s not how I’m going to be living my life ever. Hell no,” he said.
Wiz Khalifa shares his 10-year-old child Sebastian with his ex, Amber Rose. He has also often been vocal about the impact fatherhood has had on his life. In his 2019 docu-series, he said that his son Sebastian has a huge influence on his maturity.
“Bash is a huge part of that transition — and not being with his mother, too, because it forced me to be more responsible and do the things I wouldn’t normally do,” Khalifa said. “The older that he gets, the more influence I have on him. So it’s not as much as just makin’ sure he’s good; it’s actually being there.”
