In the most recent gesture that has left fans awed at the warmth they exuded for each other, singer Alicia Keys and Billie Eilish have set an example of a great women’s friendship in the industry.
The cordial exchange between the two also had a familial factor involved as Alicia Keys gave a big shout-out to Billie Eilish for making her youngest son, Genesis, “feel like a superstar“. Keys was visibly excited as she mentioned Eilish and the impact she has had on her son.

During Friday’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show’, Alicia Keys recounted how Billie Eilish went the extra mile to make Keys’ son, 9-year-old Genesis, feel special. It all began when Genesis expressed his desire to call Eilish as he is a huge fan of the singer.
“He just asked me every single day, ‘Mom, can I please leave her a voice message?'” Keys said. “And I’m like, ‘I don’t know, what kind of voice message are you gonna leave her? Like, what kind of voice message?'” she added.
Keys said Genesis simply wanted to express his admiration for the Oscar-winning musician. “He was like, ‘I’m just gonna say… I would like to be friends, and I really like her music,'” Keys said. After many requests, Genesis finally left a heartfelt message for Eilish.
After that, Keys said that her son was eagerly awaiting a response from Eilish. “He wakes me up in the morning, in the nighttime, he won’t go to sleep: ‘Did she write me? Did she write me? Did she leave me a message?'” she shared. Fortunately, Eilish did respond, leaving Genesis overjoyed.
“She left him a message,” Keys said. “Can you believe it? It was so sweet,” she exclaimed, as she praised Eilish.

Alicia Keys’ Son Genesis Had Another Star Moment With Taylor Swift
However, this was not the only time Genesis was starstruck. Keys also recounted his recent meeting with Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour. Though he initially wondered if Swift would remember him from their previous meeting at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Genesis was delighted to find out that she did.
“He was like, ‘Is she gonna remember me?’ And it was a whole thing,” Keys said. “He was like, ‘She knew me since I was 3, right, mom?’” Keys said.
But his fears did not come true as was evident from a photo shared by host Jimmy Fallon. In the photo, Genesis was seen getting a kiss on the cheek from Taylor Swifta’s beaming smile. As Keys saw the picture, she beamed with pride and cheered, “Come on, Gen Gen!”
