Kim Kardashian has recently ventured into the world of acting, and she is seemingly acing it. As she prepares to further strengthen her hold on Hollywood, she is set to take a significant leap by diving into the world of film.
On the recent episode of ‘The Kardashians‘, Kim can be heard telling her friends that she had successfully pitched and sold a comedy movie, ‘The Fifth Wheel‘, to Netflix. The film will see Kim not only in a leading role but also serving as a producer. As she is set to take her professional journey in a new direction, she also has a plan on toning down her botox a bit. Here’s what she said.
Kim Kardashian Set To Produce A Film Wherein She’s Also Assume The Lead Role
In a confessional segment of her reality show ‘The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian revealed that she herself was surprised at the prospect of being a film producer. She thanked her agent, Brad Slater, for the unexpected career turn and an unwavering belief in her.
“I was not expecting this career turn, it really did take me by surprise, and I think we all have Brad Slater to thank for this. He’s my agent,” she said. “You want a Brad Slater in your corner, he thinks the world of me,” she said on the show.
Though she seemed clearly excited about it, Kim admitted feeling nervous about pitching a movie for the first time. She described the film as a blend of ‘The Hangover‘, ‘Bridesmaids‘, and ‘First Wives Club‘. “If it happens and it works out, I will feel really accomplished and feel really fulfilled, but who knows?” she said. But her confidence seemingly grew as offers from studios started pouring in shortly after her pitches.
“The offers they’re bringing my way, I’m like, ‘You think I can do that? I can’t do that,'” she told her friends over dinner. In a confessional, she added, “How do they know I can do it? Now the pressure’s on because I’m like, ‘Oh s—, this is happening,’ I’m tripping the f— out low key because I have to really do this and I have to deliver,” the reality TV star said.

Having taken up the new role, Kim Kardashian is fully aware of the commitment and time it would demand from her. The all-knowing Kim jokingly decided that sleep would be the first thing to go in her busy schedule.
“I can do a movie a year, I’ve got about 10 years where I still look good, so that’s all I’ve got in me and then I’ll take some time off … That’s my 10-year plan,“ she said, further joking about maintaining her looks.
“I feel like you need less Botox for more emotion and I don’t have it. I’m not gonna be gaining 500 lbs. for a role… that’s not where I need to be. How am I gonna cry? How am I gonna be scared out of my mind?” she said.
However, despite the concerns, Kim is determined to make her mark in the film industry. “I wasn’t planning on this career and was like, I’m not gonna get ahead of myself here. I’m really nervous about it ’cause I have to f—ing deliver. It’s such a challenge for me and I want to welcome a challenge, and I’m like, every year I want to do something that makes me so uncomfortable that I really have to challenge myself,” she said.
So far Kim has been appreciated for her 2023 recurring role in ‘American Horror Story: Delicate‘. She played an entertainment publicist named Siobhan, working for actress Anna Victoria Alcott, played by Emma Roberts.
