Matthew McConaughey is stepping into the tequila scene, and he’s doing it with flair. The Oscar-winning actor recently celebrated the launch of his new tequila brand ‘Pantalones’ which he overtook alongside his wife Camila Alves. The celebration was held in an intimate gathering hosted by chef Daniel Boulud.
Sources say the actor made a stylish entry to the party directly from a lively appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon. Both McConaughey and the host showcased their moves in a viral “Tight Pants” sketch. However, it was not his outfit that stole the show, it was McConaughey’s toast that was nothing short of hilarious.

Matthew McConaughey Gives A Hilarious Toast To His Brand
Being the owner of the newly launched tequila brand ‘Patalones’, McConaughey was naturally expected to give a toast at the party. Describing the qualities he values in a drink, McConaughey said, “I measure my drink in five ways. One, how does it taste? Two, how is the time had on it, how’s the buzz? Three, how is the sleep? Four, how are the dreams? Five, how is the hangover?”
“The juice we have here will bat five for five,” he said, further concluding, “It’s the best thing that Camila and I made with our pants on!” The remark drew a mix of laughter and applause from the guests at the party.
McConaughey and his wife Camila are known for their charm and three lovely children. Marking another achievement in their relationship, the couple collaborated on creating this new high-end tequila. This high-end party, Boulud, also runs some of the top dining spots in NYC.

McConaughey Came To The Party Directly From ‘The Tonight Show’
Right before this soiree, McConaughey had a lighthearted chat with Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’ when he shared an amusing anecdote about losing his phone on a roller coaster at a Six Flags park in Texas
“It landed off in the middle a swamp — phone’s gone, right,” McConaughey told Fallon. “These guys at Six Flags say, ‘We can’t check down there right now, because we’re still open, but when it closes tonight, we’ll go out with flashlights and look for your phone.‘”
“The next afternoon at 6 p.m., my phone shows up in the mail. Yeah, they found it and sent it to me!” he said.
So the actor most certainly got his phone back, as meanwhile, his brand ‘Pantalones’ is set to make its debut in the world of high-quality liquor. His fans certainly have more than one reason to be excited for the actor.
