It’s official! Only intelligent people love Taylor Swift! The Swifties are going to love this for sure. Not only do they just have brilliant taste in music, but Swifties are also now officially the academically smartest people around.
Research about college students’ listening preferences while studying was published by College Rover last month. It shows that Taylor Swift fans were proven to be the ones with higher GPAs as compared to other artists. Read on to find out about the full report.
Intelligent People Listen To Taylor Swift
According to College Rover’s report, which surveyed 1,025 students aged 18-23 on their music choices and academic performances, it was revealed that the majority of female students chose SZA and Taylor Swift and The Weeknd as their go-to artists to listen to whilst studying. The male students chose 21 Savage, The Weeknd, and Kendrick Lamar as their go-to artists. Pop was the most listened-to genre on the list, followed by lo-fi and rap/hip-hop.
The list also revealed that 30% of students with high GPAs listened to Taylor Swift. A close second was The Weeknd – who had 29% of students who scored high GPAs.
The playlist also said that metal listeners were least likely to score high GPAs. The list also didn’t have any Latin artists.

Currently, she is dating Chiefs player Travis Kelce. Swift is also ready with another new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’. Man or no man, Swift sure is living her best life.
