Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce is a man of his words. The NFL star has never shied away from speaking out loud about whatever is on his mind. He was also one of the first NFL stars to have spoken up against Harrison Butker’s controversial remarks against women, where he suggested that females should only be homemakers along with other problematic statements.
Jason Kelce had strongly opposed Butker’s views openly. However, he has apparently been targeted for his reaction and his wife kylie Kelce has also been dragged along in the controversy. But Jason, yet again, has a fitting response for his naysayers.

“I Think Of Her As My Wife”: Jason Kelce Clarifies The Dynamics He Shares With His Wife
Jason Kelce on Monday took to social media to state loudly and clearly the family dynamics he shares in his household with wife Kylie Kelce. The NFL star was responding to a comment on X (formerly Twitter), stating that his wife Kylie is a homemaker even though he has openly opposed Harrison Butker’s comments. It also criticized the cleanliness in their house as seen on television.
“Your wife is a homemaker. But you can’t support butker. And your wife is a homemaker whose home is a mess. Sorry but it is dirty and messy on television. Seems you’re a bit hypocritical. Y’all are going to be left with nothing but swifties. You just ruined your gig. It’s a shame,” the comment read.
Not the one to let such a comment slide, Jason Kelce gave a fitting and elaborate response to the comment. He drafted his response in a way that he addressed a sentiment he has seen from several users. “I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife. I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can,” he wrote.
He asserted that he and his wife look at their marriage as a partnership. “Our marriage is a partnership, we are equals who are figuring it out on the daily. The only expectation is that we love each other, support one another, and are committed to our family, that comes first,” he wrote.
Responding to this, because I have seen a number of people say it. I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife. I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can. Our marriage is a partnership, we are equals… https://t.co/TnNsTW4o4B

He further claimed that they have shared responsibilities in the household both as partners and as parents to their three daughters together. “We both raise our kids, we both work, we both keep our home. It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with 3 young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks. She also makes a mean sandwich,” he said.
“If being a homemaker, works for some, and that’s what they want, then hell yea, that’s awesome, more power to you. I want to be clear, I’m not downplaying that at all, but that is not our family dynamic,” he added.

Before the social media post, both Jason and his brother Travis Kelce had condemned Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s controversial commencement speech on their ‘New Heights‘ podcast. Butker faced backlash for his views on LGBTQIA+ community, IVF, surrogacy, and advocating for women to prioritize stay-at-home roles over careers.
During the podcast, Jason had also expressed Kylie’s frustration with Butker’s remarks. “I would say if my daughters listen to anybody tell them what to do, that they should be homemakers, then I failed as a dad. I don’t care who’s talking to them,” he had stated. Travis added that while he doesn’t agree with all of Butker’s comments, he respects him as a person.
