The ‘Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness’ director Sam Raimi expressed his longtime desire to direct The Dark Knight and also has a clear vision of the villain he would bring to the franchise. Despite delivering MCU bangers like Toby Maguire’s ‘Spiderman’ trilogy and ‘Dr. Strange 2’, Raimi has always showcased an interest in the caped crusader.
Talking about the Batman project, Sam Raimi said, “I’ve always loved Batman. If I ever saw the Bat-Signal up in the air, I’d come running. If I heard that deep, gurgling laugh of The Shadow coming from the darkness, I would also tentatively step outside. And Spider-Man would be ahead of Doctor Strange, but I don’t want to put him down the list!”
