During a Q&A with reporter and insider Alex Prez of Comic Circus, various topics related to the new and old MCU characters were discussed, one of them being Spiderman. Alex was questioned about Peter Parker’s character development on the whole: “Could we expect him to appear much older and more mature in the next film(s)? Will he be that beacon of hope of NYC to help people as was mentioned in the last film?” To this, Alex replied, “Peter Parker is no more… but Spiderman lives”.
He continued to explain how Spiderman has detached himself from everyone he has loved and added, “Spiderman continues to consume Peter Parker’s life little by little“.
He further said that Peter Parker will take a backseat and continue to fade from existence slowly. Alex also emphasized how this leads to the next chapter of his story and gives him a sense of independence as he was always that childish self.

Fans’ Take On The Theory
Fans absorbed this information in a variety of ways. But one thing they all agree on is that Spiderman needs his Symbiote suit for his evolution. Additionally, an “it chooses you” mission is necessary to achieve the suit. However, the suit could be both beneficial and evil for the person but it majorly depends on the host.
Let’s hope that the Spiderman universe takes a fresh upbeat turn.
