‘The Flash’ Easter Egg Is About James Gunn
When it comes to superhero films, there are certain references to different books, films, and TV shows that always come under the spotlight. ‘The Flash’ is now a part of the same as an Easter Egg has been spotted in the film.
One of the fans pointed towards a poster of Monsters Unleashed that appears on the wall behind Barry Allen in a behind-the-scenes picture. The picture also features Andy Muschietti, who has helmed ‘The Flash.’

James Gunn Has Been A Part Of Scooby-Doo In The Past
Although James Gunn is popular for his work on ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, he has been the writer for ‘Scooby-Doo’ and ‘Monsters Unleashed.’ Although the films failed to receive a positive response, they had a cult following considering that they had the best actors in the lead roles.
The situation of ‘Scooby-Doo’ films and ‘The Flash’ has been similar. The former witnessed the return of the most popular villains in the franchise and the same is happening with ‘The Flash’ where General Zod and Michael Keaton’s Batman would be playing an important role. The lead character Barry Allen is also a fan of Scooby-Doo.
‘The Flash’ is scheduled to be released on June 16, 2023. Following its premiere on June 12 in Los Angeles, the reactions have been mostly positive.
