What To Expect From The Third Season Of ‘Bridgerton’?
Penelope and Colin Bridgerton’s love story will be the main emphasis of ‘Bridgerton‘ season 3 according to an Instagram post made by Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope. The filming started in June 2022, hence we can expect the show this year.
Here’s the synopsis Netflix released for the show: “Bridgerton is back for its third season and finds Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) has finally given up on her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) after hearing his disparaging words about her last season. She has, however, decided it’s time to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, far away from her mother and sisters. But lacking in confidence, Penelope’s attempts on the marriage mart fail spectacularly. Meanwhile, Colin has returned from his summer travels with a new look and a serious sense of swagger.“
The release further revealed that Colin would be disheartened to find Penelope giving him the cold shoulder, so he would offer his help in grooming her to find a suitable husband. But soon, his feelings for her would make things complicated. Penelope would be caught in a rift of her own with Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who would find an unlikely friendship blooming in her life.
