While standing on the witness stand, on Thursday, Heard refuted the accusation of sending images and videos of forged injuries and bruises. She claimed that due to Adam Waldman, Depp’s attorney calling her charges a hoax, she is receiving “hundreds of death threats on a regular, if not daily” basis. She got emotional and said, “People mocking – mocking my testimony about being assaulted … it’s been agonizing. Agonizing, painful, and the most humiliating thing I’ve ever had to go through.”
The Aquaman actress opined that though Johnny has the power to prevent his plethora of loyal online fans to stop the abuse, he chose not to. She continued fighting back her tears, “The harassment, and the humiliation, the campaign against me that’s echoed every single day on social media, and now in front of cameras in the showroom — every single day I have to relive the trauma. Perhaps it’s easy to forget I’m a human being.” Heard requested Johnny to “leave her alone,” claiming she has been saying this for years now.
