Materializing everything through a pre-taped video testimony on Thursday, Kate James apprised the court she was hired by Amber Heard in 2012 as her assistant and worked with her till 2015. When the questioning was done by Johnny Depp‘s lawyers, James talked about how Amber Heard would dash into a ‘blind rage’ at her during regular abusive behavior.
She added about her job where she use to get copies of the magazines that Heard emerged in and store them in the garage because she didn’t want Depp to see them. Also, she told that one time Heard ‘got very angry’ because they were lying everywhere.
James stated, “She went absolutely ballistic. Screaming, yelling, and abuse. (It was a) blind rage.’ James also remembered how Amber Heard would ‘scream over the phone at her and used to send her ‘barrages of abusive text messages day and night.”
She further added, “The middle of the night I think, between 2 and 4 am the barrage would start. All incoherent, not making sense, just someone to lash out at. No apparent reason to it,’ also, she was asked if she noticed any injuries, cuts, bruises, swelling, or redness to Heard’s face, James said: ‘No.”
But she said that she never saw Amber Heard with black eyes or clusters of hair pulled out of her head.
Beginning Of Everything Between Kate And Amber Heard
It started when James started switching from part-time to full-time work. she was bargaining her salary with Amber Heard, who lost her cool, and James said ‘she leaped up out of her chair, put her face four inches from my face, telling me how dare I ask the salary I was asking for.
She felt that she has the right to spit in my face, adding that the $50,000 she asked for was half her usual salary. James claimed that a handyman who saw the whole thing was ‘mortified’.
James also added how Heard behaved with her family, she was mean to her sister Whitney and feasted on her ‘like a dog you kick’ and her mom was also ‘terrified’ of her as she was offensive to her too. She also proclaimed about the drugs that were prescribed to Heard was the sleeping aid Provigil but the side effects sent her into a ‘manic episode.’
She told, “It was similar to if someone was on some sort of amphetamine drug. Moving very fast, hyper organizing, hyper tasking, just very, very hyper.”
James told that Heard took mushrooms, ecstasy, and cocaine and that made her ‘disorientated’ and pushed her to drink heavily and go out with her friends.
“Whenever Heard was drunken she became more and more belligerent and abusive,” kate added. She also contended that Heard’s insecurities regarding her relationship were because “she didn’t like to be away from Johnny’s physical presence.”
Heard didn’t like the group that Depp hung out with, either. “She told me she didn’t like hanging out in his house with his friends because it was boring and they were all old men playing guitars and it wasn’t interesting to her,” Kate added.

When James was asked about her impression of Depp, James stated that he was ‘peaceful, almost shy, very quiet’ and named him a ‘total Southern gentleman.’ She never noticed him forfeit his call and was ‘always completely passive.’
She also talked to him via chat but James said she would ‘stop immediately when Amber saw me talking to him and would give me the evil eye.’
The court listened about the day in Mary 2016 when Heard reached Los Angeles and fled from Boston where he was drunk and offensive towards her.
James swore that Heard moved directly to the Chateau Marmont hotel to meet up with friends and told the atmosphere was ‘a little conspiratorial’, counting that it was ‘like a strategy meeting, combined with a pool party.’

James also Questioned if Heard notified her that Depp had hit her, she said no. She said that she never noticed any violence in Depp’s apartment either. Also, Rottenborn read out a text sent from Depp to James on August 13, 2016.The period after his divorce from Heard.
It read: “Thank you, sweetheart… I’m disgusted that I ever f***in’ touched that scum… Back on Tuesday!!! And then… Court!!! Will hit you when I get back, doll… Come over for a spot of purple and we’ll fix her flabby ass, nice and good!!! Loveth… J.”
James originally asserted that she didn’t know what ‘purple’ meant or what ‘flabby ass’ is directed to. Rottenborn directed James to her testimony in the slander case brought by Depp in London in 2020 and she agreed that ‘purple’ guided to wine. Heard was the woman with the ‘flabby ass,’ according to James.
