Addressing the same, he once stated to the Irish Independent that marriage is a state of mind and that he still wishes to have tied the knot a long time ago. He said, “I hate to say this, but marriage is a state of mind, not a contract. When I think about the law and marriage, I ask myself, when did the cops get involved?”
One of the actor’s friends revealed the reasons behind his unmarried status, saying that his father departed from the family when he was very young. The incident affected his opinion towards marriage and he did not want to marry someone who was not perfect for him. He already witnessed the complications of marriage which made him stay away from any such commitments.

Diane Keaton was one of the co-stars of Al Pacino in ‘The Godfather’ trilogy and the duo were in an on-and-off relationship for some time.
Speaking of Pacino, Keaton stated: “Al was simply the most entertaining man… To me, that’s, that is the most beautiful face. I think Warren [Beatty] was gorgeous, very pretty, buy Al’s face is like whoa. Killer, killer face.”
Pacino has been in a relationship with Jill Clayburgh, Tuesday Weld, Marthe Keller, Beverly D’Angelo, and Lucila Polak. He is now in a relationship with Noor Alfallah since 2022.
He had a daughter named Julie Marie with Jan Tarrant in 1989. His relationship with Beverly led to the birth of twins Anton James and Olivia Rose in 2001. He became the father of another child, Roman, with Noor in June 2023.
