The entrepreneurial extraordinaire Elon Musk bought one of the largest social media platforms Twitter at $44 billion. Netflix last month released a documentary titled Return To Space, chronicling the journey of American astronauts’ return to the International Space Station. The latest reports have confirmed that BBC in collaboration with 72 Films, will produce a landmark series documenting the life of the South African billionaire.

The CEO of some of the successful entrepreneurial expeditions, Elon Musk’s life will be documented via a series that BBC has commissioned. As per the news, “The Elon Musk Show” (working title) will speak to the South African billionaire’s friends, family members, and business associates as well as include archive footage from Musk’s ascent through Silicon Valley to paint an intimate portrait of the tech tycoon.”
The documentary will be in three parts which are understandable as the tycoon scored the Twitter bid. The producers will also cover this controversial bid that led to instability and waves of insecurity amongst Wall Street investors. The collaboration is with 72 Films which has created some intriguing projects like A Dangerous Dynasty: House Of Assad, The Trump Show, and Rise Of Murdoch Dynasty. Looking at the resume, one may vouch for a thrilling experience from primary sources about one of the most controversial personalities.
Musk has had an unconventional personal life with three marriages apart from being a dynamic CEO of PayPal, SpaceX, and Tesla. Simon Young, BBC Commissioning Editor Simon Young said, “Elon Musk is one of the most enigmatic and intriguing people in the world.”
Marina Mohamed, a BAFTA-winning director along with A&E In The War Zone director Jeremy Llewellyn Jones will helm this mammoth, intensive project. The directors commented, “There is no getting away from Elon Musk. It’s always exciting to be documenting the biggest stories of the day, and our series will go inside Elon’s inner circle, examining the billionaire’s incredible rise and the truth behind this modern icon.” The documentary will air on BBC Two by the end of the year.
