Elon Musk tweeted on Thursday that US President Joe Biden is mistaken in believing that he was elected to improve the country. Further Musk also added that Joe Biden was able to defeat opposition candidate Donald Trump just because voters wanted less drama.
Musk stated in another tweet that in the 2024 elections, he would prefer a less contentious candidate. That being said, Musk still thinks that Trump’s ban on Twitter should be lifted now.

Elon Musk has been on a tweeting spree since he broke a deal to purchase Twitter. Some of his tweets have produced controversies. Recently, Musk shared a political thought, this time expressing his conviction that President Joe Biden did not have a broad mandate. According to him neither Donald Trump nor Joe Biden is the right presidential candidate as they lack vision.

He went on to say that although he would not like to see Donald Trump as a 2024 presidential candidate, he would still want him to be reinstated on Twitter.

Musk has been tweeting about his political stance ever since he purchased Twitter for $44 billion. He talked about his change from left to right in one of his tweets. His takeover of the social media behemoth has raised fears that Twitter may abandon its moderating standards. Musk has implied that companies may be charged to use Twitter after his takeover bid. Musk also stated that the company’s headquarters would be converted into a homeless refuge.

Is It Time For Donald Trump To Come Back On Twitter?
Musk believes it is time to abolish Donald Trump‘s Twitter restriction. He also stated that for content that is unlawful or otherwise harmful to the world, he prefers interim bans and other narrowly focused sanctions. After a riot in the US capitol on January 6, 2021, Twitter terminated Trump’s account. The reason being his tweets amounted to the promotion of violence when viewed in the context of the Capitol riot and plans circulating online for future armed demonstrations around President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.
Musk’s idea to reestablish Trump’s account on Twitter was backed by Twitter co-founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey. Dorsey, like Musk, believes that permanently banning someone from Twitter is a horrible idea. Though, Trump earlier has shared that he does not want to join Twitter now.
