‘The Bear’ Leads This Year’s Emmy Nominations
On Wednesday, ‘The Bear’ broke a record by becoming the comedy series with the most nominations in a single year with 23 Emmy nominations. 15 years ago, ’30 Rock,’ which received 22 nominations, held the record.
The show received recognition at the Emmys for its second season, which debuted in June 2023, and received a lot more nominations than it did for its debut season, which had just 13. Three of its main actors, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Jeremy Allen White, received nominations in main categories. While recognition also went towards technical categories like sound mixing and picture editing.

The show follows him as he finds ways to bring the shop back to its former glory with the help of his talented yet down-to-earth crew, which includes Sydney, a talented chef with a love for food, and Richie, a gruff but endearing kitchen worker.
