Ashley Graham is a well-known American supermodel. She made her debut in 2016. After a year of struggling in the industry, Graham wrote her first book, “New Model: What Confidence, Beauty, and Power Really Look Like”. She spread a message about body positivity through it and continues to fight for the cause. Currently, she is married to Justin Ervin. The model is also a mother to three children.

Ashley Graham On Her Scary Birthing Experience
Ashley Graham recently gave birth to twins – Malachi and Roman. She revealed in an op-ed for Glamour that she almost died while giving birth. She had a blackout and suffered a “severe” hemorrhage. She was with a team of skilled professionals and her husband. The actress said she remembered “seeing darkness and what seemed like stars.”
Graham revealed that she felt “a light touch” which really was “someone smacking the crap” out of her. When she woke up, she saw “blood literally everywhere.” And later, she got to know she “lost liters” of blood. She also said, “They didn’t want to tell me that one of the midwives had to flip me over, press her finger down right above my vagina bone to try and stop the bleeding. And they didn’t want to tell me that the vein in my arm kept collapsing and they couldn’t get the needle in for the Pitocin, so they’d had to put it in my hand.”
Ashley Graham On Suffering A Miscarriage in 2021
Ashley already revealed on social media that her birthing experience was very painful. But fortunately, her boys are healthy. She, on the other hand, was on bed rest “for four straight days”. The model “couldn’t walk for a week” and spent almost two months at home. Just after she gave birth, she tweeted, “I’m taking some time to heal up and connect with my husband and three boys, but I truly cannot wait to share more with you all.”
Graham also wrote about having a miscarriage. “I’ve not shared this until now, but I fell pregnant in January of 2021, on my husband’s birthday. Because it was my second pregnancy, I started to show early, and we were so excited. But at the end of February, I had a miscarriage,” she shared and added it was a “devastating,” loss. “It felt like one of the biggest losses I had ever had in my life to date.”
Graham is a true warrior.
